Any reason for running those, I looked at them and they seem great but $300.00 a tire vs $250.00 on the BFG KO2's

How can I get a look at them on Alpo's I cant find the picture,

    Thanks

I want a tall tire and not have as much drag with a wider one.

That looks awesome on the truck,

Are you putting the tires on the Ray10's and if so what Im wanting is less poking out from the wheel flares and that 34 x 10.5's seem they would stick out the same as 285/70/17's according to the shop guy he said no matter what tires on the Ray10's it will poke put the same 1- 2"'s I guess I'm just confused, sorry

But looking at this picture below it seems from rim and tire shots the 34's would be less poking, I guess I'm just no getting it, lol

If you can help me figure this out, much thankful here!

I will be running these with my ray10s but I'm not too savy on that. I don't want to give any wrong answers but common sense tells me a narrower tire will sit more flush with the rim where as a wider tire will bulge on both sides of the rim making it stick further out.

Thanks bro, I called the shop again and I think I figured it out, the guy said its the rim and no matter the tire it will be the same'

I'm going to go with the 285's I think and thanks

The poking out you're talking about comes from the wheel offset, not the tire. The Ray10 has a -10mm offset in a 17" which is why all Tacos that run them or a similar wheel have a similar stance.

The Factory wheel has a 30mm offset, if I am not mistaken, which is significantly different. If you want less tire exposure, you would want a wheel with more positive offset. There are other variables but I hope this helps.

    Thanks, I get it now!

I hear and see that the SCS Ray10's and the -10 looks real nice without much poke out!

Traffic was a bitch on the way home from the mountain so I took this little short cut that was blocked off......got to the top of this road and actually got denied at another rock pile.

Flexy section of trail that leads to steep hill climb.

Up and out of the mud hole.....somehow the wheels remained pretty clean at this point.

So this is a full on icon lift and just dakars? or anything else? This is the exact look I'm trying to achieve with my DCLB. Thanks again for the pics!!

i have more done, but to achieve this stance youll just need dakars w/ be shocks in the rear, and a 3" lift up front. I have icon coilovers, camberburg lca's and superbumps all around. And the 285/70/17's give you a nice amount of ground clearance too

I want to run this tire size, and am searching for new wheels. Is this the same offset of the RAY10's? I have the "bushwhacker" style fenders on my truck so I need a good bit of offset to match up to the fender and this looks like this could be about perfect.

How do you like the bushwhacker flares, I wish they had the black screws instead of silver!, are they quality and strong, I saw that they are offering a $50 credit card with the purchase of the $500.00 set of 4.

I'm having BFG KO2 285/70/17's installed on my Ray10's this week, I'm having a 2 1/2" to 3" lift as well. The all tires I've found out will have the poke so after the install, If the poke is to much I'm getting the Bushwhackers, they seem to flush out well with new tires! I was going to go with another rim but these Ray10's are to nice to let go!

I'm not sure if mine are bushwhacker brand or not, they came with the xsp-x package on my truck (basically one of the main reasons I wanted the package, plus the leather and led drl's) That being said, they seem pretty solid. I agree with the black bolts, I loved the look of the stainless hardware at first, but now it's a little bit much at times. Here is a pick below of the Maverick wheels (5"ish backspacing) with 1.25" spidertrax. That was pre-lift and new tires, so those are factory 265/65R17 BFG's
