Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Your name is F150 on a tacoma forum.

    +1 to the ignore list.

Read the thread again. I didn't "go after" him for saying "gay". I was breaking the moderator's balls for being overly sensitive and PC about the OP's use of the word gay.

JAP truck??? Corporate offices are in Japan but it is built in Mexico.
If anything, it is a Mexican truck.

A few years ago my had a Japan built Toyota and my tundra as American built. The japenese built Toyota was much better built.

I would love to own a Japanese built Tacoma.

Aren't 4runners built in Japan? Could be way off but I remember reading that somewhere on here.

I have a 2013 F150 STX 4x4 Supercab with the 5.0 V8 and a 2016 Tacoma DCSB TRD OR with the auto trans. The Ford is the tow pig and gets used for road trips, more comfy for me being 6'2". Ive had 7000lbs behind the Ford on a trailer and Ive had 2500lbs in the bed at times and its never skipped a beat. I havent had anything behind or in the bed of the Tacoma but thats not why we have it. Ive noticed the goofy shifting in the Tacoma but nothing else. The Tacoma quality is superior to the Ford. I can tell everything is just a better fit. My Ford has almost 80k on it and hasnt had one issue. But I know the Tacoma will uphold its value way better than the Ford.
All comes down to what youre plans on and needs are when choosing between them I guess.

fords 5.0 v8 is about as good as they get, ten times better than GM's antique pushrod design that they are still using

I looked at Ecoboost and it sounds like all the issues from the beginning have been ironed out but the 5.0 is a proven reliable motor with tons of torque. I drive like a pop pop but there has been a few times I needed to get into it to get into traffic and that truck hauls ass for weighing 6000lbs...

Some Tacos are Mexican made, some are American made. I dunno if its separated based on model, trim, cab, whatever... maybe it's just totally random.

Anyways "made in Japan" doesn't mean it was made by ninja craftsmen and anime girls with big titties in a spotless factory... People get really weird about that and I understand that its like a "premium" thing, but it's really not that big of a deal. It's more about the quality of the QC process than where it was built.

Unless it's China. China usually makes shit.

Secondary air filter removal, K&N drop in, Removed front mud flaps, Toyota all weather matts, skid plate, bug guard. Bilstein 5100's all around fronts set at 2.5", OME add a leaf, Goodyear Wrangler Authority 265/70/17, stubby 6.5" antenna, smoked tail lights, blacked out badges.
It's so awesome I opened a can of worms over this. I was trying to act as if I was overly sensitive. Just saying if we are gonna police what is said here about homosexuals we might as well cover racist remarks as well. Is the term Jap racist? Yes. Do I think that was the intent? No. Just coming from a guy who had a surrogate Japanese family for 15 years. Get thicker skin people.
