    PM inbound.

Oh come on. It's not like that. I have some personal stuff to take care of. Yes you can text me whenever. Im just not going to be able to keep up with everything in the BS thread and I didn't want someone thinking I was ignoring them. I'll try and get on once every couple of weeks. No promises. You all are good friends. Happy 4th to you all.

Camping in Colorado rocked! Spent 4 nights in Breackneck Pass and cruised Browns pass and Geneva Creek as well.

    I love Colorado!

That's what she said. It's her car she drives daily and I just work on it or drive it on road trips.

Time to start looking into bumpers even though I didn't want to on this truck. Want to keep it light and low, the MPG's drop big time when you put Lift, 285's, and a ton of added weight.

HUGE thanks to @aero3685 for helping me with the AP leaf and brake line install today! Couldn't have completed this without your help, especially the issue cause by muscle man on the assembly line with the brake lines.

Just need to increase that front lift a touch once I have TimF rebuild my Icons.

Looks good! Did you go with the standard or Expo leafs? What bump stops? How much lift in the front/rear to you have?

Thanks! I went standards, AP flip kit, and Wheelers superbumps. I didn't measure but would say it's a solid 3 inches after driving it around a bit. Front was already set around 2 inches so that I didn't have too much bro-lean when the stock rears were on.

I am really considering the AP's. I originally was going to go with Dakars, but I know the since they squeak a lot it'll drive me crazy. I need more payload than the standards, but less than the Expos. Decisions, decisions...

FYI you can crank up the front now if you want/need to get your desired ride height, just get an alignment after. The spring retainer height doesn't change when I rebuild shocks unless asked for by the customer.

Good to know you don't move it!
So I shouldn't need a realign again then when I pull them off and put them back on after rebuild?

Sorry for all the questions man, but how many miles did you put on the Icons before they had to be rebuilt?

No worries man :) I was just checking today and it looks like I have around 25k on them. Not sure I absolutely need it, but they've been on my truck for almost 3 years and I moved from sea level to CO last year so I figure the coilovers could use a little maintenance.

Go aluminum then, though I'd just get some touch up paint if you weren't looking to put a bumper on the truck in the first place. The way the idiots drive out here at least I've left my scratched bumper on figuring someone will really cream it eventually and then when it's smashed to hell I'll get a plate bumper.

ended up getting a new rear tire for the bike and replacing both tubes...20 years of age and all that.
I was surprised at how the size has gotten so much wider, even for just regular mtn bikes.
I was used to a 2.00 being the big fattie, this is a 2.35. Fills up the forks for sure and rides totally cush.

    Front is a 2.0

Yes I do, if you put a little lube, lithium grease or triflo, on the shaft at full droop it should lubricate the wiper seal for a while. if that doesn't work I can definitely rebuild them for you.

They are deep, if a body shop looked at it they would replace the bumper cover at least. I'm OK with welding and working with aluminum: the down side is I don't have a TIG I at home, I could borrow one but I'm feeling lazy.

I might and probably will just leave it and wait till she the 4R gets hit and replace then.
