    Man down!

Sheared the studs off the wheel. Hub gone. Saved it. About 3 miles from the lake. Not so much fun right now. Trying to source a hub and wheel from a buddy of mine to get me back on the road.

    Happy 4th everyone!

Sure did put a damper on my evening. It suck being the guy on the side of the road.

I usually stop if I think I can help (done it several times), not one person has even slowed down. That's life I guess. I do have a buddy in route to help though.

Just here watching the cars pass for now!

I wondered where your exhaust was and was looking for a snorkel, but didn't ask about it.

Bob Richards in North Augusta is hit or miss. They had a great selection of 4Runners when we bought my wife's, but here lately they haven't had much on the lot.

Thanks guys. I run that wheel off the hub on 123 headed towards Georgia. Our lake lot is right on the border. Finally got it fixed. Dropped the boat in the water and headed home. Now I have to fix my father-in- laws trailer and return the stuff I borrowed.

It really pays to have GREAT friends is all I can say.

Dang bolts sheared out of the hub and the last thing I saw was the wheel crossing the highway. I had Jude with me and he said "something sounds funny". I started to slow down because I heard it too and then the wheel fell off. I don't think it was anything I could have prevented. Just something that happens.

All good now, for the most part. Happy 4th.

Rando question: ome 887s vs 885s...yay or nay? I have 885s, but w bumper comin, possible winch eventually, dual batter, etc etc...worth the upgrade? Or just go 886s w spacer?

    And discuss....

Well heard that the 886's are to stiff. I would go with 887's since you plan to go with dual batteries, winch, and have a bumper on the way. I know @JimboAnz has 887's if I remember correctly and he likes them
