NW WA Meet / BS Thread

Camped down at the river last night. Turned into a winchfest, which included me wading into the river to wrap my winch line around a tree root ball, after @Usethe2nd couldn't pull me backwards. Said root wad on the right in the second pic.

Expedition overland ladies did a women's driving course. Kris loved it! Bunch of ladies drove the EO runner and my truck around the course.

I didn't know you can camp there

 

It's a private beach/property right up to the river. I know a guy.

 

Joe looks well sedated, look at the flex on the rear on your truck!

 

Forgot to do this and it tore right off. Also blew a tire, and ripped a piece of my front bumper off.

 

I did the Whipsaw trail up in Princeton, BC yesterday. I had read reports saying it'll take 10-12 hours to complete so we came ready to camp but we ended up finishing in 6 hours so I got to sleep in my own be last night! All in all it was a great trip, I think a lot of you guys on here would get a kick out of it. There were 3 spots where 4lo alone wasn't cutting it and I had to use my rear locker if that helps in any way to gauge the difficulty.

Was the water level high?

 

I'd say about 2-3ft high on some parts.

 

In the lake?

 

No at the river where the big opening was with gravel. We didn't stop by the lake.

 

Did u drive across the river.

 

The river wasn't that big..it was probably around 40ft wide but we drove our rigs in the shallow part of it. The other side of the river had larger rocks so we didn't want to attempt.
