I've broken the outer bone on my right foot playing basketball it high school. That shit hurt.

But my arm was totally different. Happened in the middle of fucking nowhere...went to a podunk Hospital and they could not give me the surgery I needed.

Went all the way in to town to a bigger one, they couldnt give me surgery till the next day at 3pm. I wasn't allowed and food or water the entire time. That really sucked because all I had that whole day was vodka and beer (I still blame my accident on the booze)

My arm still hurts every single day, but I'm glad it works (for the most part)

    Yeah. That would suck ass.

I've got a bad pancreas and when it flares up I have to spend 5+ days in the hospital. During that time I can't have ANY food or water, no ice, no gum, nothing. After about 2 days they will give me listerine flavored sponges on a stick to suck on. lol. Luckily I haven't had a flare up in a year or so

Motorcycles and booze don't mix very well. Lol. A unicycle might be worse, but that's about it

Yes, I really learned my lesson....and like most of the time, I did it the hard way. Those screws in my bone are a constant reminder

Yeah, they can take it out. They were going to last year or so but changed their minds. It's a $500k operation

If they take it out, they have to extract cells from it and transplant them into my liver in hopes I won't be a full blown uncontrollable diabetic

About 5 years ago, I pretty much lived in hospitals. Test after test. Stents here, drain this, nerve blocks etc. All of it is done with an endoscope that they shove down your throat. Has cameras, tools, needles and shit they can use

The money wasn't the issue. Everything was approved by the insurance and I had grants to cover what they didn't. The operation is sort of experimental. The odds of not making it are huge. I'm kinda relieved they changed their minds

These days I'm not so bad. The pain sucks from time to time, but I'm used to it now. Have to watch what I eat ( low fat ) and drink very little alcohol. I love beer, so that sucks. Appendix and gall bladder are gone now- didn't help much, but those were easy 2 hour operations

They also thought i had cancer twice. So Yeah, I've changed the way i look at life. I live every minute like its my last, and I don't worry about stupid shit- because it really doesn't matter. I work hard so I can play hard, and I'm almost always in a good mood because I choose to be that way

Access cab with child seat in the back, yellow wire mod, diff breather relocated to tail light, engine block heater, Leer topper with Yakima tracks and rack, Yakima rack on cab, Ride Rite air bags with Daystar cradles, CBI hidden front hitch, wired for winch front and rear Warn quick connect, Warn x8000i on external carrier, sway bar delete, trailer plug relocated to under bumper, Pelfreybilt IFS and Mid skids, BAMF Tcase skid, ECGS front diff bushing, ARB CKMA12 compressor, 255/85/16 Backcountry MT 3 load E tires on stock steel rims, Toyo M55 tires (same size) on another set of stock steelies, Up2NoGood heated mirror kit, Husky X-act Contour front floor liners, Northstar AGM 24F battery under the hood, Northstar 27F in the cab, Redarc 25 amp DC to DC charger, Pelfreybilt bolt on sliders with kickout and top plates, TRD Pro headlights, Depo smoked tail lights, Energy suspension body mount bushing kit, OME Dakar leaf packs with AAL, OME rear shocks, OME 90021 front shocks with 885 coils, SPC LR UCAs, Up2NoGood 2wd low range mod, 4 Wheel Campers Grandby slide in camper, 4xinnovations high clearance rear bumper, Uniclutch 800 lb/ft clutch
If you're putting in Dakars, I recommend removing the second overload spring - it's huge and I may be going back in to remove mine after the front is done. I also have the OME AAL since I carry weight all the time - I probably could have gotten away without that since I have air bags (which I think I'll remove and put in Wheeler's super bumps). I would also recommend puting in the little spacer washers to extend the centering pin in case you end up needing shims (even though you probably won't). Hold off on installing shims or the CB drop until you see if you have vibes - or just check you DL angles. Put in shims and CB drop as needed - do CB drop first.

    Oh, and HI CHAD!
