if i did nothing to the rear's, how offset would the leveling be?

Hi Robbie! If you do 2.5 in the front and nothing in the rear you're going to have a serious Cali Lift. I'm at 1.75 up front, nothing in the rear and have a slight Cali Lift. You can take a look of my ride on page 4 post # 62. Op @619HiluxLover has a similar set up but with Dakar AAL's in the rear and 285/70/17's like u want.

Did anyone have to put on sway bar relocation brackets with the 5100s and 885 springs??

    I don't think it's necessary for anything under 2.75-3inches

How did the sway bar go for you? Did you remove it or use relocation brackets?

Which part numbers are you guys ordering for the 5100s on jet.com? Also can I use the stock springs and still get a level ride?

Here ya go. And yes I'm using stock springs! I put the fronts at 1.75 and using Deaver 3 leaf mini pack. If you don't wanna put anything in rear, I'd set the front ones at .85.

I am considering putting 5100's on my TRDOR and I've got a winch with a hidden mount up front, after my dual battery install it'll be an addition of about 150lbs over stock up front. What springs would work for that?

I've had my 5100s installed for over a month and I have mine set at the highest setting for 2.5" of lift. Even on the highest setting, the ride is noticeably improved over the factory hitachi struts. I also added a 1" block to the rear. image.jpgimage.jpg

I'm running 265/65R17. Slightly bigger than the factory tires but not big enough to kill my gas mileage.

Nice! I have mine set at 1.75 and love it so far. How's the handling and alignment? Does it "wonder or feel floaty?" I think I may raise mine depending on your experience..

So after reading this thread and lurking on the lifted 2016 thread & Toytec thread, I am slightly torn between 2 options. I have already ordered Bilstein 5100's for all 4 corners, an Icon 1.5 progressive AAL, and a Headstrong offroad .25 inch spacer to accommodate for Taco Lean. However, I am wondering what everyone's opinions are with the OME 885 vs 887 Coil Springs! I have seen both and it seems that 885 is about a 1.5" lift whereas the 887 gives about a 2" lift. With the HS .25 spacer that will give a little extra lift as well. So, for a level truck or with a slight amount of stock rake, should I go with 885 or 887? It seems like it varies from truck to truck though so it may be a bit of trial and error. What do you guys think?

My installer (former master tech for Toyota who has his own shop now) seemed to think mixing Bilstein shocks with OME springs wasn't really the best thing to do, so he recommended staying with the stock coils, which are actually pretty good. I kept mine at 1.75 up front with a Deaver 3 leaf mini pack in rear. Rides excellent! Why not save a couple $100 and use it elsewhere?

I agree. Mine ride great at the 1.75 setting! Sometimes, I wish I would have purchased the adjustable coilovers because I've adjusted my 5100s twice now and it's a pain! The wrench would be some much easier if I wanted to raise or lower the front....

I haven't experienced anything of the sort. I feel like the difference in height is so minor, it couldn't possibly be a big difference between 1.75 and 2.5. I have zero complaints with the ride and drivability of mine with it on the highest setting.

That's good to hear! I've had zero problems with my truck and think it drives great. Seems I'm never happy, always wanting more!!
