Thank you, I can never hear enough songs that offer our appreciation for those who gave their all, at this time of year.

When I'm having a rough day, I think of a relative of mine, that was one of the longest survivors of the "Bataan death march", what soldiers like him went through during WWII, makes me appreciate all our freedoms and the life soldiers like him had cut short for all of us.

That's so cool Imraiderpower! Here's a pic of me and My child bride near that summit. This was a huge deal for her because she's terrified of heights. You've been there so you know what a hike it is to get there. I tweaked my back the other day taking my bike out of the truck. I'm flat on my back with OTC pain meds and a heating pad. The weather here sucks today with bad storms in the forecast. I hope you have a good 4th my friend.

 

Boy you ain't even lying! That's a hike that will wear ya out! Glad she was able to get up there to the top We had storms this morning but cleared out just in time for me to fire up the smoker. Here's to your back getting better and you having a good 4th too my friend!

 

I'm glad that the weather held off long enough for the parade.

 

Unfortunately I'm at work (medic). So my day has been full of patients with heat emergencies. check out our current head index. The humidity is unbelievabley high today!

 

Yeah I'm glad too. I really love this parade and the crowd it pulls in from the locals such a great home town flavor of pride.

 

Flying home from vacation in MT/WY on Wednesday, so hanging out at the "Red, White, and Boom" festival in Bozeman tonight.
