    1. Thank you! (I stopped by the Trailhead Fire IC yesterday. I'm always impressed with the system!)

    2. My site tonight is just off the 88 and 89 jct to the east of Pioneer. It's beautiful up here! And not the 112* of the valley!

I don't think is a matter of how fast/slow setup and breakdown is. I can do that very quickly with my hammock gear. For me it's comfort. I hate sleeping in the ground. For some it's fear. Others it's likely just a "I'm cool" factor. I personally have much better things (to me) to spend my money on.

Yeah I'm exited to get away from the heat and near some water and camping spots where it isn't 112. The valley has been scorching lately

Doh forgot to attach the rest of the rain fly before taking pictures... This was the first outing with my CVT Mt Shasta.

We were in Lincoln National Forest (Cloudcroft, NM)

Tie the dog's leash to a wheel spoke - not the mirror. (Unless you want to lose said mirror.)

We spent the last two weekends building a remote access toilet on BLM land (my sons Eagle project). Boat in access only. It was like hammock city in the woods, lol.905F8A43-A6F2-4986-911A-EB2AC0013073_zps_14357451f520d79a8ef5ca0d1e1b3e0a43b69c61.jpg

A friend of mine had a cool hammock set up-http://www.amokequipment.com/

Said he had to pay some big$ for the insulated pad, but was well worth it. My wife and I slept in our little Nemo Losi by the lakeside.

We just got finished setting up our new family camping tent / hunting tent. Springbar 10x14. My son and I pitched it for the first time in under 30 minutes. I suspect it will take us 15minutes now that we understand it. Super easy and tons of room. Heavy- over 80lbs with the portico, but room for 4 cots inside (plus the dogs).

I'd be impressed if she pulled off the mirror. She stays on her bed unless otherwise directed. I had to get her attention to take this photo. Plus she doesn't pull and pulling would turn her around due to a sensation harness. I would not tie a large breed to the mirror though!
