It was all tunnels. He likes to build them then flood them and watch them go.

Good Morning TW , Happy Fourth of July, I hope everyone is all good. I would like to report that my reseal of the truck cap was a success, passed the car wash test. I used 1.5" butyl tape under the bed rail cap, it was about an 1/8" thick. Two rows, one full sized on the out side edge where it starts to curve down, the other, cut to fit and cover all the holes. Put the bed rail cap back down, smushing all the clips threw the tape. Then made a filler peice of butyl tape to make a gap plug where the sides meet the front of the bed. Reinstalled the cap, tightened back down, let sit for a day in the sun, worked good. I now am sore from all the truck work, yard work, art fair walking, bonfire building, and drinking. I hope everyone has a better than average day.

We are enjoying a QUIET 3 day weekend ;) .......recharging the batteries so to speak...

Con leaves Thursday for NH and will return with 2 of the Grands the week after o_O

The house will be "entertaining" until 1st week in August :rofl::rofl::rofl: When Con goes back up to NH for her Summer Soccer Camp;It pays for those "lil ones tickets"

Good and the bad of this weekend is we found the windows and panels for enclosing our Florida Room making it year round instead of seasonal  The Bad is, I get to do all of the installs  BUT I will save $7-8 grand  I guess we can call that the Good :p

Everyone enjoy the rest of their 4th :oldglory:

We had fireworks last night right along the Riva' along with the fire pit and tonight will be the same :oldglory:

Not being a wise ass but seasonal compared to year round. It's Florida.

Not being a smart ass at all ..

It is currently a screened room with vinyl windows...plus an insulated roof.....I want to completely enclose with plexy sliders( if I go glass it must withstand 100mph) ,then frame the inside for a walk-in closet , up date my bar area :D and create 2 offices with one of those capable of becoming a spare bunk room.....

It will add about 317 sq.feet of 4 season living area.......and I will only have to add one extra AC :hattip:

The fun part is I can now keep my existing aluminum skeleton as they will custom build each horizontal slider to the old vertical's width....Then my sidewalls can be customized with smaller sliders and fancy plexy inserts only stopped by Con's imagination...
And I can stay on price point ordering all 6 or one at a time......$$$$ saved will help towards "Honey-dos" :fistbump: Bathroom , kitchen, new windows through out and hardwood floors

Sooner it is completed the SOONER I retire

Man, I wish I could.... 97* out here that feels like 108* and it feels like every one of those degrees  why does it have to be hot and nasty out when I get to work in the yard???? But, making progress.... have the one trench dug out for the replacement pieces. :yay: Decided yesterday that I was going to move two of the other sprinklers back to their original position

I know what it's like to work on irrigation here in the sandy soil but up buy you I bet it's rooti ( is that a word) anyway I can still dig like a mole digger and if I were close buy I'd dig them trenches for ya! Does the frost go deep in the ground by you Susan? :oldglory:

thanks JD. I already got the roots out - when I took the trees/stumps out. Filled in some of the trenches, as it made it easier to work on the next part. It's fairly sandy out here, so digging isn't a problem. Only issue is the heat. I forgot to get a couple of couplings, so now I have to wait until I know exactly what I need, to go to Lowe's

Frost, what's frost? hehe don't get too much frost here and then usually it doesn't last long. Three of my zones, drain by themselves, since the front is sloped. I put drains on one zone and the one in the back yard, should be deep enough not to ever have a problem.
