Pioneer AVIC 5100 NEX with Nav/Bluetooth, with Scosche dash kit, and Crux SWRTY wiring harness. After 10 years, it was nice to freshen up the ride a little.

I have a Pioneer. I order the CD player and speakers from crutchfield it pretty easy to install if you have some time on your hands I think it's a huge upgrade over the factory CD player.

It's now an Entune premium audio with navigation. Stock Entune does not include HD radio, so I installed an Entune with HD, but no navigation. Within the last month, I upgraded again.

Upgraded to a stock entune w/hd and Bluetooth from a 2013 with infinity components...I hate it. I should have just went fully aftermarket at the beginning instead of spending so much on a factory unit. I can't hear it at all with the windows down. I'll grab one of the pioneer CarPlay units and an external amp for the front components eventually. Don't need the bass like I did 15 years ago but I'd like a little more volume.

Where did you place the subs? Also do you have two amps, one to power the speakers and one to power the subs? If so, which brand?

I found someone locally selling a JBL stealth box, which mounts behind the passenger side rear seat. I'm running a single alpine amp (just for the sub) which I mounted behind the driver's side rear seat. The speakers are powered by an alpine "power pack" which I stashed behind the glove box. It's about the size of a lap top battery. The factory sound system on the 2012's is a total joke but the truck sounds great now. Let me know if you'd like pics of the sub/amp set up.

I ditched the stock radio within a week of getting the truck. I can't stand FM radio.

Yea pics would be perfect. In my previous ride I had a JL audio 12" W6 sub, alpine speakers, and an alpine amp. It bumped pretty well. For now, I'm not necessarily going for as loud of a bump, but I would like the bass to be better. For now, I just have alpine type R speakers on the taco. I will complete the system within the next week or two.

I believe the speakers are Helix. They had good reviews for their treble and I thought they would match up well with the subs.

Here are the pics of the subs and amp.
