So excited to be leaving for death valley tomorrow morning!! I will definitly be taking the camera and posting the trip in pics up here!

Has anyone been there and can suggest some nice trails (DC LB Sport, Stock friendly?)

Also what are some things that we MUST have out on the trails, for just in case emergencies. Not taking on any super off camber trails yet, but if there are some things that I might forget and should bring shout it out.

hopefully you aren't heading out without another truck...

someone recently went on an adventure through Death Valley lone vehicle and unfortunately they found him dead out there...

    Key items:
    1. CB radio and/or Ham radio
    2. Shovel
    3. 5 gallon jug of potable water
    4. 10 to 15 gallons of spare gas
    5. Sleeping bag
    6. Dry/canned foods (non perishable)
    7. Signal flares
    8. Tow strap
    9. Firearm (random run-ins with meth cookers and territorial bulls)
    10. Flashlights and/or lanterns
    11. 2 spare tires

Have fun. It's beautiful out there. Cold as heck at night though.

yah but its a rush... hahaha

on one adventure, we got out of the trucks and hiked up to a natural spring... as we pushed through some high grass, we inadvertently crossed paths with a bull and a couple cows... that was the most intense 10 mins of walking backwards with our arms up in the air to keep that sucker from charging...

we almost pissed our pants... hahahah

late summer gets really hot... late spring right after the rains is a good time...

late fall and winter get a bit too cold and windy at night...

maybe we can get the AZ and CA wheelers together for a Mojave Desert run from Barstow to Vegas...

You'll have fun. There's also a good ghost town Rhiolite just past where you enter the canyon... good stop.
