Built these last week for mine.

 

I have been interested in a headache rack for a while too, hard to find one that is not reminiscent of a highway construction vehicle. Spyder has a few options , Highway Products too , but not sure if the Tacoma will work.

 

What is it for? Is it to prevent things from not to slide back and break the glass? Looks cool though, even if it obstructs rear view.

 

Yes this is what i'm looking for. I assume Backrack finally came out with a part number for the 3rd gen's. Where did you get it and would you have a part number. Thanks

This is what I really wanted. But the back rack can't be put on with a tonneau cover. The head rack attaches to the track system so the tonneau cover can't go at the same time. The tundra can do it because it has post pockets, but not tacoma. Figured I needed the tonneau alot more than I needed a head rack. Just something to chew on. Although I see a pic on this thread already that shows a different brand rack with a tonneau cover. Curious how it mounts
