I mean, to each their own and if they aren't expensive then even better, but I spent too much on the truck to have the seats look like a pair of old wrinkled nut sacks damn.

Lol, very well then! You have to keep a few things in mind. Mostly I have neglected my front seats for a year now and they can be adjusted to fit better. Some covers are made for ease of installation and are designed to pull on and off to be washed, cuddled with or whatever gets you going. These fit that category. Other covers are designed to be installed by removing the seat and fighting to get on. These are not those. They are made of some really good material, fit better than most if fitted correctly as I have admitted I have not taken the time to do that. However given your aversion to wrinkles, nut sacks and in rare occasion the combination of the two these will not be the covers for you.

In the 1970's every truck in Arizona, including mine, had those seat covers and a gun rack in the rear window.

Exactly. For those of us that use a truck, umm, as a truck kind of appreciate the durability and ease of maintenance with stuff like this. I haul my hunting dogs, Boy Scouts, tools, project materials etc in my trucks. My trucks have never been nor will be street queens.

I think it all depends on what you are looking for. My son (then 6 years old) promptly dumped a full root beer float in the rear passenger seat of my truck when it was about a week old. Not his fault, he is a kid and stuff like that happens. For me these hold up well and can be removed in just a few min and thrown in the washing machine and dried and put back on just as quick. I admit they don't fit the tightest but keep in mind this it Carhartt canvas. That stuff is thick and does not form the best. For me I get a bunch of complements on them and they actually protect my seats. Some of the better fitting covers do the same job but not unless you move north of the $600 dollar range from what my research turned up. Like I said, I have owned wet okole's, I have also had the universal slip covers from Cabelas, cover kings from Costco and they all serve a function. For me I highly recommend the Carhartt covers but if they don't float your boat then more power to ya.

Oh I've got a set ready to go. I also have 4 Carharrt dog beds too. Same deal- you can unzip them and throw them in the wash. They are over 5 years old and still going stong, and they get some serious abuse in the home and hunting kennels.

If you want durability under tough use and ease of maintenance- you can't beat Carharrt covers. You want looks? You need to go elsewhere.

Don't know. I don't own them- just found them on-line.

Be brave- try them out for the rest of us old fogey's, lol.

I do too but I don't think it looks quite right with bucket seats, looks great with bench seats though. I wonder if it's possible to get something like Clazzios or Katskins with a blanket insert installed, that would look pretty good. Might need to talk to an auto upholsterer for a custom job.

Last time I was in Mexico I grabbed two saddle blankets at the border. Got home, cut out holes for the headrest and seat belt and pinned the backs. When I get off work and am filthy, no seat cover under $100 would last. But these are 1000x better and under $20 for both. They don't look the best but damnit if they don't do exactly the job they were meant for
