I'm not sure about the klank noise but I assume that has to do with stalling in reverse, I don't recall ever doing that. I do remember that the dashboard lights up like a christmas tree when it stalls though. If its something that you can replicate, I'd say bring it back to the dealer and show them and see what they say. Maybe its nothing but at least it'll give you piece of mind.

Most people are probably heading home instead of going there. At least for your sake I hope so.

Yeah we didn't hit any traffic which was sweet . Heading off cape was backed up pretty good around the bridge.

Honestly sounds like it's just from it stalling. IIRC when I stalled my 02 all the dash lights would come on. I wouldn't worry about it.

Ultimately I figured as much. I drove it a bunch today and it didn't go blooey. Still re-learning how to daily drive a stick. Another week and you won't be able to tell my truck isn't automatic if you ride in it.

I found my clutch to grab very high. On my '13, I adjusted the pedal by shortening the push rod about 2 turns and it grabs much lower. As a result, it's more friendly to drive especially in traffic.

The only issue I had with the Tacoma vs my other manual cars was it's a bitch about letting you into first gear...you have to really find that just slow enough to jam it in speed.

My Tacoma shifts like butter compared to the mustang. That thing is awful you need to fight to get it into first or reverse. For first I need to double clutch or slowly easy the clutch till it drops into gear.

I am FINALLY going to upgrade the stock speakers...I think I am going to go with the Polk DB 6501 components...I will probably do an under seat sub as well..I have an access cab and I need to use the rear seats and can't put any kind of a box back there...
    I have a Kenwood head unit..BT752HD that I love. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-CFU9ITI8AxT/p_113BT752HD/Kenwood-KDC-BT752HD.html
Depending on how the speakers sound I'll decide on a sub...But now that I commute 80 miles a day I need to upgrade the speakers...

You could try a tube..smaller than a box and you could easily remove it if you need the rear seats. Might even stuff under the rear seat somehow but I'm not familiar with the AC

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Good morning everyone

What are you going to do to power those speakers? Amp or just run off the head unit? If amp what kind? I'm in the middle of an audio build myself right now.

I didn't know you could do this! I've always thought my clutch grabs high as well. Hmm need to figure out how to do this. Thanks!
