While visiting the Oregon coast, I had a chance to try some beers from Pelican Brewing. All of them were awesome, especially their DIPA!

This was a fantastic raspberry ale I had from Founders over the weekend at a local BBQ joint.

I'm a big fan of fruit beers. Some are better than others some are much stronger than others. This is amongst the top to me. A very pleasant beer. Not too strong, not too fruity. Easily an all day drinker.

Unfortunately, I'm not a big barleywine or a bourbon barrel-aged guy. I trust it's good though based off their other beers. I also had a Pale Ale from Bill's Tavern which was exceptional. It was much more like an unfiltered IPA, but it was delicious. The Public Coast beer I had was ok. Not as good as the other two, but they are a new brewery and I'm sure they will get better with time.

I don't usually go for IPAs it fruit beers but this one is great. The two meld together so nicely
