No, not quite. The aviation base he's at is big one, so a lot of branches train there, even foreign countries. It's designated as a Navy base though. Even on my base you get all branches (even the Coasties) for schooling.

 

Makes sense instead of building 5 schools. I thought about uscg when i was a junior and senior but decided against it all together

 

I dated a girl in the coast guard for while. It sounds super shitty! They do some bad ass stuff, but some of the hours and stuff they have to deal with blows. She also turned out to be psycho, so there's that.

Installed the mobtown tailgate skin, very well made. Can tell it adds a significant amount of strength, and I like the surface better for setting stuff down and so on. No center sag when sitting n the gate. Definitely get the rivnut hardware pack, once everything is in place and snugged up you can tell it adds shear strength and nothing is moving. My 07 tailgate got trashed loading stuff in and out (bent, bent back, sheetmetal tear, etc)and this skin will prevent that happening on my '15. Plus it looks sharp...
I definitely recommend this piece of gear, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. big ups to @Mobtown Offroad !!!!
