Just installed the 3" Nfab nerf bars. I was debating between the 2" and 3" - I am so glad I went with the 3"! The twos would have looked liked drinking straws.

Only complaint is that the Nfab Quality control needs a kick in the ass. The machining on one of the 5 hole bolts on the passenger side bar was off by at least 4mm which made it impossible to secure the one of the rear bolt. However, I think it still feels sturdy with 4 of 5 bolts holding it on. OCD was kicking in bad.

Looks really good. You should call and share your feedback/their imperfections. Maybe they'll offset some of the costs and alleviate the frustration. Save someone else the same.

I believe they are bolted and double sided taped. Look at the painted fender flare thread, a guy had his removed and painted

I added a Softopper to my 2016 yesterday. Question. The Softopper dose not have a 3rd brake light. Is it required in Canada? If it is, what are my options? Softopper didn't offer anything ordering on-line. Maybe if I called them.

Put in red LEDs. Going to be so much nicer than getting blinded! (They're a true red, not orange-ish like the photo is showing)

Now that is a good question. I know when I lived in the US, that if the vehicle came with a third brake light and you put a canopy on, it had to have it as well. You could not obstruct/modify OEM safety devices or something along those lines or you could be held liable in an accident. I'm not 100% sure on that thought and I think it was only applicable on vehicles newer then 1995 or something like that.

No clue here in Canada, as I see them blocked all the time by RTT, headache racks, cargo you name it. Suggest looking it up in your DMV laws for your province as the laws will be different for each province.

On a sidenote, they let all the bro-trucks from oil country drive around without mud flaps (which is not legal if I remember correctly), heavily modified rigs, stock 1/2 tons carrying way to large of a trailer with two quads on a sled deck on the back of a truck, putting it way over the capacity of the truck (oh but throwing in helper springs solves that o_O) and a bunch of other shit that people should be pulled over for.

Sorry ranting there. I think you will be alright, but not a bad idea to check.

    Steve

Yeah, I did the drivers side on mine in red led too, and it's so much better. Also took the blue free-be Harbor Freight lights and glued some velcro on the back and colored the lens red with a magic marker, nice soft red light for the shell..Sticks on the carpet lining..

Followed instructions. Too complicated. Dick caught in fan. Send help.

Lol in all seriousness, I was going to cut it, but my knife was inside, so I just folded it under and refastened the mat.
