It was an opinion based on experience. Don't like it move on unless you have any personal experience to back up your statement.

Sorry I can't be everywhere to give you an answer for the entire world.

It may be stupid that this thread went in this direction but why would you ever drive your vehicle without a seatbelt on? That idea reminds me of something you'd see on idiocracy

Frankly I'm fine with it, freedom of choice and all...

BUT if you are the type to drive without a seatbelt, I want you to have to, by law, sign a waiver that says you or your loved ones cannot sue any other driver in the event that you become paralyzed or die from an accident with another driver.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

What you heard is incorrect. Mine has been disabled for years and the battery disconnected several times for and hour or more and it is still disabled.

Many of us find the best solution to be putting the seat belt on. Your mileage may vary. Good luck out there.

I turned mine off cause my dog rides in the front seat and she trips it on. But I got a solution to this whole thing, let people make there own decisions and they can live with the consequences. We are all grown ass people we can make he's own choices right or wrong.

+1, nothing illegal about it. Most states it is law to wear belt on public roads. Unlike others have said mine does come back on. I simply disconnected plug under seat. Works on driver side but not passenger. I just fasten the passenger seat belt when carrying something heavy or on hunting ranch.

That's fine, if they also pay for the consequences, like emergency services and such.

Similar to the discussions on the right for motorcyclists not to wear helmets.

So.. was mine disabled before I got the truck? I have an '06 and there's no audible alert when I don't wear a seatbelt.
