    3in lift, wheels and tires, k&n intake, Gibson exhaust, headache rack, side steps, 42in curved light bar, CBI Moab 1.0 bumper, Rigid Dully spot cubes, 285/75r16 Toyo MT's
    So this happened....

    Most who cut will cut right after the hump over the axle (where it flattens out).

    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    Tested painting my wheel with the spare. Love the look and will do the rest before I mount the new tires.

Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
    I'm not sure but looks like you need some Fluid Film on that thaRr frame. I was just told about it, watched some videos on YouTube and the stuff is awesome!!! (First pic is before...next pic is after) it prolongs the life your frame be inhibiting rust growth

    I think I might just take my bed off when I change my lead springs, wire brush it really good and then spray it with something

    I was just told about this stuff. Fluid film, I watched a few videos and everyone up in the NE swears by it. They get killed with salt and it eats away their undercarriage. It's awesome!

    Spraying used oil accomplishes the exact same thing but cost $0.

    So, I removed the two cigarette lighter outlets and installed a 2 USB port and Volt meter. Then, I removed my ashtray and installed my new smaller CB in its place. Many thanks for the ideas of other 1st gen guys :)

    There is a product called POR-15, this stuff works better than any film.

    I used it on a utility trailer that had a lot of rust all over it. I used a grinder to the areas I could get at and added new steel in some other areas to beef it up and for pockets. I then used their metal prep and then applied their black base coat with just a foam brush. It flowed out like I had used a paint gun.
    It cures nice and shiny, but over time it will turn dull and slightly oxidize because it is meant to have a top coat applied over it. I didn't use the top coat and that was three years ago. I have not had any rust come back on the trailer and I live next to and surrounded by the ocean.

    It took about a days worth getting it fitted right. Put it on, look at it, Mark it, shave off some fiberglass, refit, mark, shave off some metal, etc. I still need some washers and longer bolts for one of the holes to make it sit a little more flush but it's definitely not off by inches.

    The rear is proving more difficult but we at least got one side to where it slides on. Still needs fitment work so it's not so tight on there. Longest part was getting all the spot welds and glue off.

    The bed is unbolted and pulled back which is why it's crooked.
