I have the ik24's. I got the same amount of boost with a 2.1 and 2.2. Couldn't get rid of belt slip with the 2.1 though

Also I was mistaken, ik22's are 2 step colder and ik20 are 1 step. If you're running the 7th or just the SC get the IK22 or NGK equivalent.

 

Are the ik22 dual electrode?

 

Single just like the ik24. That's why I was going to go with the NGK copper plugs. Triple electrode and not as fragile as the Denso.

Btw, I believe the three long bolts are hex M8x1.25x170 (x2) I believe and M8x1.25x180. Will confirm tomorrow morning.

 

Was gonna go to ik22s but never had a issue with these ik24s. I just sent my sc to the high speed lab

 

Sounds like you had the belt tension wrong perhaps.

I had it right in the center just like the directions say. Even with a brand new tensioner. Even tried moving th alternator bracket. Gave up lol. It was 95% gone with the new tensioner. Most I saw was 9psi. I get 8 with the 2.2

 

Huh. Odd. Oh well. Haha I'll get the 2.2 if he 2.1 doesn't work out. Jason seemed to notice a difference

 

Hopefully I don't regret getting rid of the 2.1 lol. Our older trucks kinda suck to tune because they are in closed loop so much and you need the o2 calibrated thing in order to tune closed loop.

 

O2 thing? You mean a wideband?

Called camelback and modified the order. Only getting the tensioner kit

 

The 7th injector does not come with that. The newer 7th do have closed loop fueling added into them. But you cannot adjust it. When I hit 1psi my afr drops to ~13 then goes down from there. I've been trying hard to get my afrs lower but you literally can't because of closed loop. It's usually between 11.5-12.5then 4th/5th fear boost are like 10s lol

 

Good, that will save you a ton. Ran out of time this morning but will check when I get home tonight for the bolts. I ordered my IK22's from advanceauto and they were way cheaper than camelback.

 

When you boost you want it to be 11.4 Afr. So...yea what's the problem?

But in 2nd gear wot it's like mid to high 12s. But idk if that's because of the large load and short gear.

 

That's not bad. Not great but not bad. You aren't running lean anyways.
