    But back to the OP's questions , if you have CAI set up for your supercharger and use this you'll be making more hp with a colder / denser air flow as this will reflect up to 90% radiant heat . Just sleeve the cold air tube with this and enjoy the free hp

    I've got this same heat barrier sleeving for my CAI I just haven't had time to install it

    I've never seen a CAI on a NASCAR car. Maybe cup series? All the cars I've worked on have had the circular filters on top of the carb. I'm interested to know if cup cars use them though!
