Exactly. I'd lift shirtless if I could, I sweat so fucking bad that I sweat through my shirt damn near instantly.

That's why I wear a shirt in the gym. I don't want people to have to lay on the bench after I get off of it and there's a big puddle. Even if you wipe it down, it's still just gross. Lol.

Now, if I run downtown, I go shirtless. I'd like to go shirtless on the treadmill while I'm doing intervals...but I don't wanna be that guy and end up with someone talking about me on a forum.

Fuck that, Id drape something on the bench if I was shirtless, I'm not trying to leave sweat puddles on everything, even though I leave sweat marks on just about everything even with my shirt on.

Haven't been to the gym since Saturday and haven't had a shot of pre workout since Thursday. Mr. Hyde is about to kick my ass...

Kicking off an 8-day straight workout plan that will get me through next Wednesday. I'm leaving for Vegas that Thursday and will be gym-less again for 4 days until I get home. I'll finally get back on my regularly scheduled programming after that

I know the feeling. I haven't been to the gym since last Wednesday. Hopefully I can get back in there tonight. If not, I will be in tomorrow morning for sure.

I went in yesterday after work with plans to do an upper body workout. My gym partner from like 2-3 years ago was in there doing legs with this other regular who does strongman competitions. The guy is probably 5'8" and 300 lbs....he's probably 40+% bf, but he's so fucking strong. They invited me in, so I said, "what the hell?!" We did deadlifts for like 30 fucking mins. My lower back and hamstrings are so tight today.

I don't remember how many sets of deadlifts we did, but it was over 10. I jumped in when they were at 225 and we ended up only going up to 325 and then pyramiding back down. It was fucking brutal. After that, I just did some leg press, a few machines, and calves. I had to go grocery shopping afterwards and thought I was gonna fall a few times. Tomorrow is gonna suck. I'm gonna plan on meeting him tomorrow for chest, but he's an EMT, so his hours are all screwy.

Ok so since my goal is to bench 300 (or more obv) I decided I won't max again until I can get 225x10 (or more obv). So I did a warm up set at 135 then and stuck 225 on and went to work. The goal was to go to failure as many rounds as possible until I could only get 1. I ended up stopping at 10 sets just because it was taking a while. I was resting 2ish min between each set. Took 28.5min for 10 sets and my warm up. Surprised myself with my first set and got 6. I think that's the most consecutive I've gotten before...

    Ended up going...
    6-5-5-4-4-3-4-3-2-3

Then I did some incline press, svend press, tricep work, and abs.

I'm going to do similar for squat and deads. Probably start at 300#s and do the same workout until I can get 10 (or more obv) at that weight. That should put my max at 400 (or more obv)...

    :benchpress:

That's exactly what I do. I won't go up to 315 on anything unless I can rep out 225 at least 10+ times. On bench, 12-13 reps is my sweet spot for 225 to ensure that I can get 315. Last time on bench a few weeks ago, I think I topped out at 225 8 times. Cutting sucks.
