Good times at the Benicia waterfront yesterday for the fireworks. Parked the truck down there early, rode a folding bike back home, then rode back down with the kids in the bucket bike. Doubles as a cook station.

have a little patients. if you want it fast pay a premium overnight fee. other wise. stop bitching about every off road company taking too long during peak season to ship. somethings may just be bad karma. Hell in the old days 6 to 8 weeks was the norm.2 weeks seems good to me.

 

On one hand I kind of agree with this statement, shit does take a while to ship, especially heavy ass LCAs. But on the other hand, in todays day and age of shipping, it is kind of ridiculous that companies are taking 2-3 weeks to ship something that says 'in stock', and thats not shipped to your door, thats 2-3 weeks from order date to 'shipped out'. I ordered lug nuts from wheelers that took over a week to ship. In Sam's case, I'm guessing Metal Tech 4x4 did not actually have the parts in stock and just ordered through TC, so it was a week for them to get around to ordering and then TC was probably busy and then got around to shipping. Amazon.com has ruined it for everyone.

 

2 weeks for something that is advertised in stock is bullshit. I can order ship and deliver 16 300lb rolls in 3 days from Georgia via freight. No excuse for a company that does this for a living to take two weeks to drop something in the mail.

I work in customer service and know how to treat customers. This is not how. Sorry you allow yourself to be walked on by companies when there is tons to choose from. I choose not to be.

 

I was a bit annoyed when I ordered my Tepui for the same reason. Tepui showed out of stock, Expedition outfitters showed as in stock with free shipping, I ordered it, got an email a week and a half later saying Tepui was out of stock but getting some soon. It even shipped directly from Tepui. I think my biggest gripe is people not updating their websites. Another example, order bump strike pads from Poly performance, showed as in stock, got an email and call today saying they were out of stock. im cool with it because that shows as good customer service to me, even though their webmaster needs to get his shit together.

Well this blows. Bought a lower off a buddy but wasn't able to get to an FFL to do the transfer before deploying. Since then this 'buddy' has gone off the deep end and we no longer speak.. aaanndd I get back Dec 22nd. Not enough time to complete the 10 day transfer. F*ckin Brown just had to sign this shit while I'm gone.

Interested to see how this High-capacity magazine possession law plays out. Seeing how I've got a box of 30 rnd and magpuls that the military has ISSUED to me, but of course they probably won't cover the fines if I'm stopped.

You should be exempt from this as you're Military and they're required for your job. That's how it's been prior to this bullshit bill passing.
