I think you need to get at least as far as the point where you're given the repeatable radiant quests in each faction before you destroy the Institute to have those radiant quests available after the Institute is destroyed and be on "friendly" terms with the RR and BOS.

 

Yep. That one thing is ALL I had the Railroad do. As soon as I had the chip read it was back to Sanctuary to build and execute the rest of the quest line. Father ended up getting an acute case of Exploding Skull Syndrome while I was inside getting the network scanner run on the Institute network

 

I didn't do a perfect ending that I know of...I simply ran the Minutemen line for the main quest. Same pulse charge on the Institute reactor as when you're with the Railroad, same teleporter built (just at the Sanctuary).

I simply avoided the BoS and RR all together the whole time. I got assigned the 'listen to the military frequency AF95' I think it was called, the one where Scribe Whatsherface asks for reinforcements, but I never listed to it. I also picked up the 'walk the freedom trail' quest by walking through Boston Common too close to the robot, but I never did it. I had both quests open and unfinished right up through the Institute going boom.

 

Oh yeah , in order for the RR and BOS to be on good terms with you after using the MM for the ending you have to advance both their story lines a ways too

I think I may need to think about this a bit. I'm leaning towards wiping them both out manually, because reasons, but I don't want to be too hasty.

 

I think , or at least the way I did it , is that to be in good standing with them you have to advance their story lines before you take out the Institute witb the MM

 

Yup that's what I had to do. Advance them all to essentially the end before they destroy the institute then worm with the mm

It kinda is too bad, I've liked the DLC overall. But with the modding support and attached community, it'll keep going quite nicely for a long time, so ....

I'm waiting on Red Dead Redemption 2 and Shadow of Mordor 2 , but I'll be rebuilding most of my settlements in Fallout 4 so that should take a while

 

Red Dead 2 is on my radar. I haven't even scratched the surface of Mordor yet so I have a lot to go.

I'll just continue with Overwatch for now.

 

& they are remastering Skyrim...soo....

 

Which is also when Civ 6 drops, IIRC

 

Yes, I'm just saying...they will release Skyrim, wait x amount of months and work on something else, then probably the next Skyrim. etc.

AKA...don't hold your breath for FO5. It took them 7 years between FO3 and FO4.

 

Yeah, I still play Skyrim and with the new game mod coming out soon I'll try that out too.

 

One of the official updates from Bethesda completely fucked my game save. Mods are all screwed up so I haven't even started Far Harbor.

I plan on not playing for awhile, then replaying from the beginning once the updates die down.
