By the way, what do you mean by "at it agian?"

This has happened to you, by them, before?

That same principle goes both ways...

    Unless they are a non-profit.

you know it wasnt just that one thing that went out.. so even if it took them 10 miles of fuel wear and tear for 20 items shipped at $6.00 that is $120 for a 10 mile trip.. which would come out to be $12 a mile thats ridiculous

You're speculating... What if it was just that one thing that went out the door that day? Packaging (besides the box), gas, employee's and overhead isn't free.

If they did get 20 orders out and made some money doing it - that's called business.

I honestly can't believe there is such a stink and a call-out thread on a reasonable shipping and handling charge...

True i am speculating.. but make money on your product is business.. not on shipping.. Yes because everyone doesnt have money.. if you are going to charge me a price for shipping then that should be the price you pay for shipping. The overhead, employee, ect. should be included in your products price. You dont charge for someone else doing the work of shipping (USPS) that said company didnt do (allpro)

It would be like me shipping you a bag of chips that only cost 1.49. but i charge you $4.00 for me to ship it even though it only cost me $1.00 to ship.. So now you are paying $5.50 for something i only paid $2.49. You are paying almost 100% more for it... its the difference between a good business man and a shit head...

I feel like I've wasted at least $8 of my time reading this thread. Where do I send the bill?

Some of the logic in here is quite remarkable and really stretching it in order for it to apply to the scenario at hand.

you wouldnt feel slighted paying $12, to ship an item when it comes in a $6.99 box?

Keep the "business has to make money" crap out of it.

Not agreeing with the other party does not mean their logic is in question, that's ad hominem.
