:) I will get some better pics of the rack this weekend. Hoping to get the lights and upper bars done up by then.

Thanks! I got this stuff from Blue Ridge Overland and ordered the panel with the optional backseat adapter. I partially removed my back cab panel, wrapped the backseat adapter straps around it and snapped it back into place(didn't want to drill any holes). I'm sure you could do this with any other panel if you have the straps/buckles to secure it.

Diazfabrication (devil horns) also makes them. I believe he uses aluminum and a CNC machine to make his.

Following the advice of other tw members I decided to make some tool mounts out of scraps. Gonna make a spot for axe, jack, portable tool box, jerry can bracket or maybe just a cup holder.

    Not enough...
Finally received my yellow on black 1960 Legacy vanity plates. Ordered last September. They came in December.... mis-spelled. DMV re-ordered them for me... or so they said. After multiple calls and 2 visits to the local filed office it turned out no one ever re-ordered them in December. So, 10 months after ordering them I finally received them.

I wasn't taking a chance with all of the Dakar squeak threads and posts out there.

I've seen all those but I don't know if I'm that anal about a squeak... besides I always ride with the radio turned up anyway.

I just question how long the inner tube will last. That's a lot of pressure and once there is some dust in there its going to wear pretty quick.

The Zip ties should help with that. It was mostly just an experiment. Each method has its drawbacks, so I thought I'd try combining them.
