    Yes, I had 35's on my first suspension setup which was just 5100's set at 2.25 in the front and stock UCA's. The rear was pretty much the same setup I have now except back then I has a stock leaf pack with the wheelers 3leaf aal - now I've got a Dakar pack.
    The body lift came later in preparation for the crawl box.
    I actually dialed down the fox coil overs in the front and swapped shackes in the back to lower it down after the Body Lift.
    Did all that at @PSU Taco85 houae back when he was still living with his folks.
    Could not have done it without him. :D

    So I finally got my Icon's installed last week and after driving about 100 miles on them I have noticed that the front end seems to "bounce" a bit when going over bumps or even just someone moving around in the truck. I had an OME setup with 885x springs and now have the ICON 2.5 with 700lb springs as I have a plate bumper, winch, and supercharger. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix for it? I've got the preload set just about where I want it so the front end is level from left to right.

    I'm not really sure. Basically the whole front end bounces up and down after going over a bump. It almost feels like a car with bad shocks.

    Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say you need to let them settle in more. Or your spring rate is too high. Or too much preload.

    Well I've got a nice long drive planned this weekend so hopefully they will settle down more. I've got 1.25" on the driver's side and a little over 1" on the passenger, is that a safe amount of preload?

    Actual thread showing? Shouldn't be that bad. Whats the equation? 1/2" for every inch or lift or so. I mean, I'd say 100 miles haven't broken in your coils just yet, so that's probably part of the reason, but your spring rate could be off a bit, plus preload just makes everything a little stiffer, no matter what. I'd say go on your trip, hit lots of bumps, and then let us know how it feels when you get home/

    mine were unloaded for rebuild for a week and it took 400-600 miles to finally re-settle

    You need to remember that you now have a 1" longer spring than the Icons come stock and it's a higher rate. I seen a truck locally that has almost no preload on the passenger side with a steel bumper and winch and it's about 2.5" over stock ride height. You should have taken before and after measurements.

    I took before and after measurements from fender to hub and the passenger side is the same as before and the driver's side is about a 1/2" higher than before since I could finally adjust for the taco lean. Both sides had a 1/2" of preload from the factory.

    Thanks for the advice, it definitely took them a while to settle just from the initial install before I even needed to add preload so hopefully this weekend settles them down. I'll be sure to update.
