Yeah I've been out that direction but never seen the area everyone calls powerline road. I've seen King and Icon do their stress testing out there which makes it all the more fun, right @Mike likes Tacos ?

I found the area, 130mi away :bananadead:

The heat doesn't look that bad. It was basically the same when we were in Rowher a few weeks ago? That wasn't unbearable.

We were last there in late April with my wife's quad. Her neck started hurting so I rode the rest of the way to Bismarck. I was sweating when we got there. I loaded it up and we drove out

Coyote dry lake bed which is where it appears all that stuff is approximately 130. Calico and Barstow are like 110/115.

Where's this White Mountain trail run? Tacoma friendly?

Pretty sure theres a fire road bypass around gatekeeper. Watched a dude in a Cherokee make it on YouTube. He struggled at the top bump

2N17x is fairly difficult. Did it on a dirtbike many times an it's somewhat challenging even on a bike. Locker is a must and canyon walls get pretty close to your cab. Last hill is also challenging an loose

Just ordered my lift finally! Sliders should hopefully be ready by next weekend...

I'll get back to ya, just dropped a bunch of dough on this lift and I remembered I need to get a new battery and tire rotation before I venture too far out again...this Saturday might be a 'give the Taco a break and do some maintenance' day...

...then again I don't have the best track record for turning down wheeling trips so we'll see how I feel come Friday lol

Dude you can't do the trail I just told you about without me..lol:rofl:

That's right!:bikewheelie2: I can do a desert trip if it's around 100 but when it gets close to 110 there's no way.
That's 2N17. I wonder if you are forced through the crazy stuff? I only see a couple bypasses on satellite. Hard to gauge the difficulty.

    Billies kit? Let's see ittttttt

Tire rotate do it when you install the lift, don't pay a shmoo to do that. Could even swap your own battery they're only like $100-$150 for a great one. Also if you're wheeling near me I have that fancy new Noco battery choocher we could test on ya! 1000cca babyy!

To your other bit though I definitely want to wheel but I know it's time for maintenance. A good bath and rub down for the truck along with greasing and torquing.

That's a good idea, might as well just switch them shoes around when they're off anyhow. Got the 5100s with the OME 881s and Headstrong's 3AAL for the rear, looking at 2.5" all around, maybe slightly higher in the ass-end but that's pretty much how she sits now anyway lol.

I'm nowhere near OC unfortunately :( thanks for the offer though. I'm going to run down to O'Reilly's after work today and have them test out the battery.

Nice 2.5" then you gotta shuck those tires or you're gonna take @MADSTEEZE's title of small tires!
