What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got bored today and painted my Toyota muffler tip! Lol wasn't feeling the chrome

 

Anyone painted there side mirrors? I played around with it today and it seems like the painted part of the mirror might just pop off ( maybe just be some clips under there holding it on)? Anyone taken that panel off? I'm to scared to just pull on it haha

 

What chrome?! My truck only came with a bunch of shiny plastic.

 

Held on with a super sticky double sided tape. Theyll pull off with a little finese and heat.

 

Not required in Canada!

Yes, they clip on & pop right off. Use a plastic paint scraper, slide it under the edge and pop it off. I replaced my chrome limited covers with MGM covers.

I'm pretty sure it's not polished stainless or aluminum so I just assumed it was chromium plated or leafed plastics. I could very well be wrong. Im only right usually

You've just inspired me to dip the chrome on my tailgate.

I quit the dip about 6 months ago but luckily had a empty can in the tool box lol

 

Started deadening the rear wall after pulling out the bins.

 

Is that some kind of a plug in the lower center section?

 

Dipped the grill, added OR bumper cap, "that" is how a woman organizes her center console. 3" Pro Comp lift, 17x9 Pro Comp Wheels on Toyo A/T 285/70/17. Toyota side steps. Extang Solid Fold 2.0

 

Wondered that myself. Trying prying on it gently but it didn't budge so I don't think it is.

Truck looks awesome! Where'd you get the OR bumper cap? I was going to dip mine but would rather pick up the OR cap, how much was it?
