Well, it would be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, but that only goes to 36,000. As to "age", while it's not that old in years, I have 48,000 miles on her already and my shop said they have seen it around 50K on some vehicles.
They said the 1st gen's are much easier and cheaper to fix but the 2nd Gen's last longer but are more expensive as you have to take more out of the way to remove the whole rack to replace them. They took me back and showed me what's going on. They had to take my skid plates off to verify what they were suspecting, then showed me the problem. They they put the skids back on and didn't charge me anything for the inspection. Like I said, I have used them for many years on work and personal vehicles so trust them completely.
Gotta pay to play sometimes, right?:burnrubber:

I guess, she'll be 2 years old on Sep. 29th. All those trips to Grass Valley up by Tahoe and to my brother's place in Phoenix add up. Haven't put quite as many on here lately though.
    Have a good one Daniel!

You might want to get poly bushings. You get a bit more feedback.

Yea, thanks Mike. Looking at poly's but so far supposedly having trouble finding 'em for 2015's. Did a bit of looking today and it looks like the 2013 and 2015 have the same part numbers for the whole rack assembly so the bushings must be as well. Just gotta make sure.
