Shot a soda can out of one once, with a plastic bag under it as wadding. Punched right through the plywood we were using for a target.

I remember taking one of those small disposable c02 tanks for like pump paintball guns. We put a pair of pliers around the neck of it and then dropped a huge rock on the pliers handle. As you can imagine, the c02 tank shot off about 250 yards, almost going through a neighbors window.

So on rare occasion I actually use the AC in my vehicles. It's also on that occasion I find out it doesn't work.

    Jealous!

When I went to China for work I wasn't able to do any travel or sightseeing.

I had hoped to see the wall but it wasn't in the cards. I do regret it but my hands were tied.

Maybe. I'm not really an AC type of person.

One of my personal faves was tying an old rag around the potato and soaking it with the stuff inside a glow stick... Glow in the dark tracer rounds! Those suckers go friggin far...

I think the Crosstrek is a great idea. I know a few people who have them and love them. My main issue with them is I think they're underpowered. Having said that, though, I was one of the few Outback buyers who always seeked out the H6 models.

My buddy's mom bought us a book called "Backyard Ballistics" when I was in middle school. That plus having a full plumbers workshop and converting everything to copper and copper fittings and plus using welding gas... We put a 1-inch metal ball through the side of a concrete wall and built a mortar system that sent a flaming tennis ball 5 streets over into the middle of our high school soccer field during a game. Also made a rotating potato cannon and a cantelope launcher.

Needless to say we had a lot of "Science experiments" whenever the cops came for loud noises... His mom took the book away after 3 weeks and I went and rented it from the public library....

On a side note - dropped my spare tire yesterday to check it out. Had a brand new BFG Rugged Trail on it, well from back in 2008. The spare is all rusted to sh1t though... not sure whether to just mount the new tire on it and call it a day or have it sandblasted and rustoleum the crap out of it...

Another question - anyone here have a CB Radio?

I spent some time trying to push her towards either the Crosstrek or the Mazda. At this point she seems to have her heart set on the Mustang.

    Yes, in my plow truck.

Same. My house actually has a unit that was built into the wall when we bought it. Except for the yearly test to make sure it still works I haven't used the A/C setting at all, lol. Usually I just use it as a fan. :notsure:

Dunno. I have a shorter, window-mounted unit for my CB and I noticed that I had less range than with one of the 62" whips I was using before. Size definitely matters for antennas, so I don't think that thing will set your world on fire. :notsure:

I should have clarified, I need to get a shorter am fm antenna because the stocker doesn't clear the garage
