I thought we were going to get a storm earlier, but it scooted right by us. I wish it would rain and cool it down a bit.

Its been a pretty crappy week for me. Generally holiday weeks in retail are hell. The 4th of July included.

Bad news about my truck.. motor is shot. Apparently the oil pump gave up, and and locked up the motor. Had to get it towed home on Monday, happy 4th for me.

The guy I bought the truck from is my mechanic. Known him for years... him and his son run a used car lot, and do their own work on the vehicles he sells. He's got it currently. Said he's gonna call around and get some ideas on things and let me know whats up. Considering I've only had the truck 3 months, I'm hoping.. really really hoping he helps me out and I don't end up paying the whole amount of a new motor.

On the (somewhat) upside.. Vacation next week. St. Louis, Missouri with the wife to visit her brother and his girlfriend.
