Yeah pretty stupid place, plenty of room down below, and on the newer 5.7 Tundra/Seqouia its UNDERNEATH the passenger side exhaust manifold, and yes the mani needs to be removed to get to it...
Book time for the starter I am doing is close to 5 hours labor!

Haha yeah, the things I do for money....and I will keep an eye/ear out for you! Gotta get you back into another truck!

I just saw an article last week that Porsche updated their v8 motor. The valves are swapped. So intake comes in where headers would go and exhaust comes out where you'd have an intake mani. Twin borq turbos sitting on top the motor. Crazy compact design.Porsche-V-8-engine-626x451.jpg

Does anyone have a piece of scrap 1/4" plate aluminum that I could get a 6"x47" piece out of and you are willing to part with ? All the metal supply places want me to either buy a 4' x4' sheet or a 12' strip of 6" wide stock...all for entirely too much $.

I just need that 6"x47" piece for an abs wind fairing on my roof rack that is all warped to hell and back...

Suckouts!!! Awesome little break. I work in Cardiff so I surf there occasionally before work. Being so close, I try to grab the lunch hour as the crowd is so much better.

Hey I saw that guy on San Elijo Ave. yesterday on my way home! My thought when I saw him go by... "Damn, headwinds must suck."

Haha, I live and work in Encinitas. I've probably seen you guys around. If I'm not driving the truck (my fiancee probably is) keep your eye out for the idiot commuting on a black/silver mountain bike...it's the only bike I have that I can get up the cardiff hills without walking

If he is in Havasu or is too busy do you guys have any shops you recommend? Just need to install the coilovers and get an alignment done.

You should be able to do it yourself with basic hand tools and a few hours of your time

Dont have time before i leave. Dont have a garage (shade) or much in the way of tools at home either.

I changed my upper ball joints on my last truck but had air tools and space in a friends garage then. So i can do it, just no opportunity to do it now.

I think for a second option guys typically go to the truck shop. Someone else will need to chime in with alignment shop. Think there are 2 of them out here that guys like.
