Has anyone installed Icon upper control arms? If so, did you have to bend the fender to get the bolt out?

I've done it. I just cut them out and had replacements on hand to install backwards with locktite. I believe that is the general consensus around here. The 2016 has more sheet metal and would require allot more bending and mangling. I have not try to bend it so I can't confirm this.

^^^This is the way to do it.

I did things the hard way with my TC UCA's. Tried to bend the inner apron to get the bolts out, but there is no where near enough clearance to do it (unlike 2nd gens). Had to unbolt the cab mounts and lift the body to get them out. Way easier to cut the heads, then just install backwards.

Was hoping someone could give me advice on what springs I should run to help lift/support the front. I have the Fox Ultimate lift from Toytec with Race Series LCAs

The two replacement springs I have on hand are:
    1. Eibach 14in x 3in ID Springs: 14" x 3.0" ID - 700lb/in
    2. Pac Racing 14" x3" 650lb
For weight, I have an Pelefreybilt aluminum front bumper with a Warn Xeon Platinum.

    Thanks in advance!!

I'd run the 700lb. coils so you can avoid having to preload them.

Also, DAMN that is a good looking rig

Appreciate it! Do you think that will raise the front up a little with the spings being an inch longer than the stock 13" 600lb springs?

Lift is about 2 to 2.5" with 35s. Everything has been cut/trimmed/pounded, so no issues with there.

Just want the from lift more and stock springs could support it.

Just out of curiosity what are you lift numbers are you looking for and are you running 600 or 650lb springs right now?
I don't not have direct expierences but have been researching this as I'm about to move to a winch bumper. I'm looking at the slimline bumper from SSO that weighs about as much as your aluminum setup. I'll also be running synthetic line so hoping my weight will be under 140lbs total. I talked with sdhq and asked sso. They both seem to think the 13" 650 lb springs I'm running will be fine. I asked about 650lb and 700lb 14" spring and the general opinion is the 700s will ride like dirt and the 650s will block due to the increased length. I was initially dead set on 700s but there is so many variables lol. I think as of now I'm just gonna slap that bumper on and see what happens. Maybe say screw it and sacrifice a little up travel and throw a 3/4 top plate spacer on there to level it out if need be. It's mind boggling lol.:boom:

It should lift it upanother 1/2-3/4" for sure. Your springs will have a higher spring rate and therefore should not say as much. Damn, 35's? Can you take a picture straight on at one of the tires? I'd like to see how it fills the wheel well. Thanks!

Perfect! That's what I need.. Thanks!

I'm having some Bushacjers trimmed now and installed and have some fabrication being done on the actual fenders; front and back. Will send you a pic when done.

I'm running 600lb 13" which comes standard on the shock. I called Fox and they gave me the option of the two springs in my previous post.

I can tell you 100% though the spings I have do not work

Thanks man. I'm looking to upscale to 35's for offroad use and run my 33's daily. I'll regret to 4.88's first, though and am curious to see what fender modifications you end up making. I'll be running the CBI front and rear bumpers and plan to move the front wheels forward during the alignment if possible. Cheers for the pics. Those 35's fill the wheel wells remarkably well!

Appreciate your feedback. I'll be getting 456 gears when East Coast Gear Supply releases them. I got an engine tune though and it pushes the 35s already like stock tires.
