I haven't tried that yet, but I might. I wanted to try the story mode out which was ok. I haven't followed the story since Halo1 so I was a bit lost during the first part of it.

I've got access to COX Gigablast, I'm told it's a gig up and down. 100 bucks a month. either with a 2 year contract and install is only 100 or no contract and install is 300. I'm debating if it's worth it.

Im hoping that by playing the firefight it will make me want to play the campaign and finish the story or whatever.

I finished halo 2 anniversary, almost done with Halo CE and i played 3 enough to not need to play single player again. Halo 4 was shit but i may play it to get the "Lucas'd" story updated.
I say that cause 343 decided to go and make some changes and add terminals all throughout 1 & 2 to make the story go deeper. They added a scene in halo 2 with Spartan Locke which is the guy in halo 5.

So basically they did a George Lucas to Halo.

Cox said they could knock 10$ off but that is it. CenturyLink is about 20$ less a month but less speed and i need a new modem.

If you do get it let me know if you actually get anywhere near a gig speed wise. The only person I know with it can't get past 550mb, which isn't bad, but isn't near 1gig.

Also, did you guys see the changes in billing? I now show im on a 350gb plan and in 8 days ive used 60% of it.

I feel that cox will soon be doing plans and throttling services.

I think its Cox slowly making that change. Why would it say 350gb plan? And seriously, 350gb is nothing. I woukd need to be at a 5tb plan monthly with all the sreaming my family does.

900 is close enough for me. People rarely use up speeds so I never really worry about that.

Since I've had cox I've seen a 'data cap' but not once have I ever been under that data cap. With streaming today and all the 4k shit everyone wants 350gb will be gone with in a week for a normal family. We'll see what happens.

I feel like they are both (Cox and centurylink) crooked as fuck. My bill with Cox seems to go up for one reason or another every damn month. They know they have us all by the balls and they just keep squeezing.

Seeing all this talk about faster Internet still makes me want to give them more money though.

Exactly. It's Cox or nothing if yo want speed in my area. And from what I understand google fiber won't be around in Chandler for a long time. Hell Cox is trying to sue Google and block them from getting into Tempe. They know once google hits, they are fucked. $70 a month for 1gig internet, and 130 for 1gig and TV. TV isn't bullshit either and gives you tons of channels.

It's all about the all mighty dollar brotha. They don't want any real competition otherwise they will have to stop fucking their customers with a sandpaper condom.
