Great... I was all excited for red cone... why don't we split the seemingly large(ish) group into one that wants to do Yankee Hill and one that still wants to do red cone. Heck, even if it's just two or three of us, that's really all we need...

Sorry to be a stick in the mud, but I'm looking to try something new, not do Yankee Hill for the 3rd time this month...

You are right everyone sees the trails differently. Honestly they are both a piece of cake to me but my years of experience are not objective. So I try to err on the side of caution when describing the trail to others.

Depends on where the CB is installed. SWR Meter needs access to the back of your CB to get connected.

Speaking of SWR meters..... Andy.....Andy.....Andy. :D

Sorry to be gone all day! I was swapping my 90021's out for 90000's. Got the pleasure of once again swapping the suspension three times. Got the drivers side all finished up (other than the wheel) and when I was assembling the passenger side I noticed that I forgot to install the large washer under the top hat on the drivers side, so I got to do it again. And passenger side castle nut for the tie rod got mangled when popping the tie rod loose so I had to rig it to drive to Toyota to get a replacement. BUT, its all finished!!! And now that I have a stiffer shock, I need to work to buy a winch to go with those shocks.

Yes, I was originally planning for tomorrow, Friday. I am busy doing hiking trail work all Saturday, then offroad trail work on Sunday.

Just messaged with aero3685 and he's out for tomorrow, so I'm in for Yankee on Sat. Never been there and need something mellow to break me in to CO trails.

So how many are interested in Yankee on sat at 9am? I'm not familiar with this trail or the area so if someone else could take point I'd appreciate it. @iRideMTB is in I see.

Its a pretty easy trail to find. And if someone has a tablet, or you can just use a phone, DL a gpx reader for trails or pdf viewer for MVUM's, you'll have a good idea where to go.

http://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/502-yankee-hill-to-central-city Yankee Hill with a few of the connecting trails mapped out. As well as directions and photos.
