    Hey guys. My first post.

I own a 2007 tacoma prerunner. The AC went out so I replaced the blower motor resistor (including pigtail.) I also replaced the blower motor. So now we're getting plenty of air!
However, it's not blowing as cold as it once did. It's cold, but not COLD, ya know? I plan to check the freon. But where do I check it at? And where do I check the compressor and condenser?

    Thanks!

I'm going to say something that I hope you don't take offense with. Checking refrigerant is not like checking the pressure in your tires.

Take it to a shop and have them analyze it.

I agree with Lester on this. If you are asking these questions, you need to take it to an AC Shop.

My 11 leaked a bit out, stopped blowing cold consistently, and started making a little bit of noise. Added a can of stop leak and a can of compressor lube, back to normal.

The thing I noticed when the refrigerant was low, was that it WOULD blow cold, then blow warm for a bit, then blow a bit more cold, etc. It didn't just make less cold.

Stop leak in the AC System is your worst enemy.

    Just say no.

You can always go get a can of 134A refrigerant with a pressure gauge at Walmart and refill it yourself. Did it on my 2010 with no problems blows really cold. Just be sure not to overfill it.
