    Would you guys advise me to take it back in tomorrow and if so what would be the best to tell him, he seems kinda arrogant and knows I don't know jack about this lift alignment stuff!


    Its only a 2 1/2" lift/level but the only thing I noticed is the pax front tire slant, but again it may be just me or the driveway but I'm doubting that!

    Or would it be best to just take it to a Toyota dealer for a complete alinement or aliment shop?

    That's the .6 camber making the tire lean out at the top. 0 would be straight. Idk man, my camber is at .7 and they don't look like that.

    I would be more worried about your caster #'s being out of spec than that.

    What is a caster and why is it more important then the lean!

    It's not more important and it might just be the way the driveway looks. Like I said, my camber is a little more off than yours and my tires wear correctly.

    So the caster is the lean or the camber, so the driveway may be effecting both! What are my camber #'s and what should they be, thanks

    These are ideal #'s:

    Toe: close to zero
    camber: close to zero
    caster: 2.0 degrees or higher (maxed out)

    If you look at my alignment sheet I PM'd you, my caster is about 4 degrees. Without uca's the max I could get was about 1.8 degrees and the truck will want to wander everytime you hit a little bump on the freeway.

    I don't mean to be stupid but on my sheet where are those above numbers u list, should they have given me the colored copy?


    Would you just take it back and tell them about the pax front lean and ask to redo aliment or would you recommend me taking it to a Toyota dealer and have then redo it and what kinda price may I be looking at!

    Tell your guy you want numbers more like these:He will tell you that is not possible with your lift. You will buy aftermarket upper control arms and install them. You will then get a good alignment at a new alignment shop. And your truck will drive properly again.

    If OP lifted his 3rd gen 2.5" over stock, it would be the equivalent of lifting a 2nd gen 3.5". That might be why the caster is out of spec. Or, the alignment shop just did a shitty job.

    Im taking it into a Toyota dealer shop and get it aliened, fudge that lift shop, would the full alinement be around $100-$150.00!

    Agreed. But even at 2.5" on a second gen, new UCAs are the right way to go. Third gen isn't going to be that different. And a dealer "toe-and-go" is never the answer.

    Yup, UCA's should be high on the list of stuff that needs to be done when lifting your truck.
