It's just blue soap. Water and a tire brush will do it.

Well, theoretically, as long as there aren't other alleged violations of a motor vehicle law in the state, you might be good. On the flip side, it doesn't say a meter maid can't ticket you.

Wow. I thought I was a jerk. Bad plate. Let the federal marshals lock my bank account and domain and sell my home. I am doing life for a license plate. God help you if your tpms light is on. They shoot on sight for that one. Freakin LawLifes.

Well I figure if I get pulled over I'll flip on the rear strobes and floor it! I could be that guy on cops that destroys his truck in a high speed chase. Later after a foot pursuit when I'm arrested half naked under the helicopter spotlight and the officer asks "what are you running for man?" " i was scarred because my license plate frame is to big !!!!!"
    Just kidding:rofl:

True, you could get away by going maximum warp.

Thanks to the recommendation of @0uTkAsT I put some new Falkens on. Great tires that look better than most pictures show. Also put my bed lights in from @mattgecko - great product with amazing instructions. Finally I built a bed rack for my road bike. Busy truck day.

Any pics of the whole truck with new tires? What size? I am trying to decide on tires to buy. It is hard to find pics of stock OR rims with aftermarket tires.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
Some other guys are mounting smaller compressors behind their seat or in the bed storage boxes. I guess this is cool though. How did it effect your mileage? Any rubbing?

I removed the "Tacoma" and "V6" badges from the doors and tailgate, respectively. I believe I caused a 1/4" scratch on the tailgate (grrr). Hopefully I can pull it out with my PC.

I'm still on the fence with the bedside decals. I think the red in the decal is what is throwing me. I do and don't like the decals. With my '13 the decals were solid color so it was less of an issue.

I did mine in that order as well. Left the stickers on for a few more days after debadging. Finally removed them and it looks much better. All I've asked agree and like it better without.

    What color truck?
I have new decals enroute from Far North. Hope to get rid of the silver and replace with black and grey on Inferno
