Can you take closer photos of the steps? I saw these online and liked the look of them but was curious to what it would look like on a Taco.

Finally got rid of those ugly silver TRD stickers on the bed and threw on some custom black ones as well as finally getting around to putting in my tailgate vinyls I've had for 3 months... Haha.

 

Hey Wex: How do you like your ARE shell? Any problems with it? I'm thinking about the same one but with windoors. What did it cost you?

 

I like it a lot. Very nice top. Perfect fitment. Not too low or too high. The clamps suck. It comes with 4 and on badly rutted (I mean very bad) roads over several miles can slip. I bought a harbor freight socket set just to be able to loosen the bolts, push it the 1/4"-1/2" back into place and continue on. The shell ran $1850, full bed rug was $500. I think I'll order another 4 clamps from ARE just to make sure it doesn't slip anymore.

 

Sounds like they need to use a more grippy foam/rubber seal. Maybe something like this

The black stripe on the shell helps beak up the inferno color. Other inferno shells I've seen just look like too much orange - especially the sports with color-matched fender flares. Thanks for the info!

 

Look at what they use for the Snugtop. The clamp hooks into the rails is that how yours works? I just spent 3200.00 today on a Snugtop. Now I have to wait 5 weeks and hope it is as good of quality as the display was.

After a month of shipping from Germany, the decal has arrived it adds a whole new look to the truck!!

 

I dig it are those the AVS in-channel deflector?

 

My truck. Use it to haul my yak. caught some Mahi Mahi and Cobia off it today 1.5 miles offshore.

Went to the Lost Coast and Kings Range over the weekend.

 

I would. I have the AVS on my truck and not really impressed. It took me ordering two sets to piece meal an entire set that didn't have gouges or scratches on all 4 deflectors. the ones that still ended up with some minor blemishes I was able to polish out. They also feel rather flimsy. Whenever I wash the truck I always feel like I am going to crack them. I just got impatient and didn't want to wait on the weathertechs.

 

My truck as of today. Just installed my grill from BAY AREA METAL FAB (BAMF).
