Haha right? Its basically the size of another lane in between actual street lanes and parking lanes. I contemplated vehicular manslaughter for a minute...Dont fuckin touch my truck. There weren't even any cars around so he could have gone around easily

I've found that "those" cyclists are just out looking to start shit. Dozens of people around? Fuck it. I'll hog other lanes and block cars. No one around? Guess I'll use the bike lane and shout at someone.

Yup. I fuckin HATE bikers. They want all cars to 'share the road' and they want t be treated like another car on the road, but they don't wanna follow any of the rules. Can't tell you how many times I've had to slam brakes in the middle of an intersection when some biker just blows through the stop sign right in front of me. But guess what, I'd go to jail for it. Annnnnd now I have my dash cam for stupid shit like that, not that it would help I'm sure.

Well I don't really hate them, I just think the majority of them are incredibly stupid. There are far worse things on the road imo. In SF Taxi's/Uber/Lyft drivers are a cancer. They have got to be the stupidest people I've ever had to share the road with.

    Some really cool shit

Lots of arrogant bikers who think they own the road. I spend a lot of time on Grizzly Peak Road and it's nuts there. The rule is you're supposed to give them three feet when you pass, but the asshats are three feet off the right side white line, damn near to the middle of the road. then they get pissed if you pass them. Right in front of me I saw a cyclist berate a motorist who had passed this dick who was in the middle of the road. When we got to a back up in traffic he started in on this person. Then the dick just passed everyone by riding on the right side white line he should have been hugging all along. I'll share the road, if they do too. Otherwise, screw-um. I had a 3 thousand dollar road racing bike for years, and I road the white line when traffic came, unless I was going faster than traffic. You don't have to be a dick when riding.

hey, any of you left coastians spend any time on dry lakes like the Black Rock Playa? that white dust got into EVERYTHING, I thought the stuff in my bed would be safe inside the snugtop ... even the storage cubbies on the inside of the bed half a half inch of it.not much I can do about it but put sensitive stuff in hermetically sealed cases, like Pelicans, eh? I'm glad my telescope eyepieces and big binos were in sealed cases, thats for sure!

Trail dust is a problem if you have a cap and are attempting to stop your gear from getting filthy. There are some aftermarket tailgate seals available, but fabricating your own from weatherstripping available from hardware stores is the general approach for best results. Sealing the corner areas where the cap door and tailgate meet is the real pain. You can stick gorilla tape over the holes in your cubbies. Some have even tried postivive spressure systems, but I've not looked into that yet. Have a look in the expo threads and Crom's build https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-getaway-croms-build-and-adventures.362772/
