    There is another option to getting more airflow, and that is adding a second tube into the side fender to draw in more air from outside the engine bay. There is a prototype being sent to me in the coming days to test out.

    That's kind of what I did with my K&N on my 2.7. I made a hole in the heat shield and ran a hose with a scoop that sits near the bumper. I wasn't expecting anything from it, was more bored and had free time. Only noticeable difference really was just the temp of the cone filter wasn't as hot.

    Nope, I actually ordered the AFE Pro Dry S for a 2015 Tacoma 4 cylinder cause it fits the 2016 cause all the stuff is the same!

    Nope just printed out the instructions and looked them over to make sure everything was the exact same before I went ahead and ordered it but everything fit perfect! No modifications needed!

    Actually they still aren't available on their site for the 2016's! I bought mine under a 2015!
