Sat on a friend's deck overlooking Kaneohe Bay drinking beer & pretending to fish. One fish decided to interrupt me, so I ate it for dinner.

Being the old fart that I am, I didn't even think of taking a pic...it was a Jack Trevally, locally know as Papio. About 2 lbs., just right for dinner.

And you can still afford a Tacoma??
My daughter went to Jefferson College for Health Sciences and is a ER Trauma nurse at Roanoke Hospital. I had agreed to pay for her college when she was 16 and thought she was going to go to a community college, boy did that cost me. But it was money well spent and she has started her career debt free. She has 3 years ER behind her and is going for Flight Nurse soon.

What's everyones overnight temps? Keeps hitting the mid 40's here in Kalifornia where I live. Went jogging a little after 6 this AM, looked like 42 or 43 then. Supposed to cool down by Sunday I think the radio said, as if it hasn't been cool enough already.
Finally moved my 401(k) from my old job, adding it to my IRA that was created from my previous employment of 19 years. Financial Advisor pointed out one fund was getting over 6% return this year, whereas the 401(k) only did around 2% this year so far. He wanted to change a few funds I had money in that needed moving. I still need to calculate what retiring early, but not collecting Social Security until a few more years, does to the amount I'd get every month. Money, something else to worry about.

We saw two on the road yesterday, they just strolled right out in front of us. Wife was driving, she hit the brakes and then the horn; one of them fell all over the place trying to get off the road. It was funny to watch. Luckily we had enough warning to slow down in time so it was largely a non-event.

Duane, what altitude do live at in Kalifornia to have temps that low? Here in central Virginia its suppose to drop down to 70 tonight, with a high of 88 tomorrow. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains 1,100 ft .

Boy you make one little mistake and all the 60 year olds just jump on my ass!! :facepalm:I thought us old guys were suppose to mellow out when we reach this time in our lives.
But even at 1,100 ft I am a whole lot warmer than Duane in Kalifornia.
