Getting them done through a pics place on a Faceballs group we have..I MIGHT eventually go retro, but not in the cards this round..with trading mine for these, I'm practically paying nothing..which is good

I have some lifetime LEDs to swap in that have been collecting dust from a local Faceballs group giveaway..they'll make a nice addition over the current AVEC's that are in there..good excuse to finally get all of their light out of my rig

 

Y'all headed to Badlands this weekend? Got a small group that may be there Saturday morning if weather cooperates. Would like to meet up if only for a quick intro if this happens.

 

Should be! I will be there later in the afternoon Saturday and most of the day Sunday.

 

Still a 50/50 thing if we're going.....All depends on weather here through the night (which will effect work schedule) If we do this, plan is to shove off around 7:30 or 8AM from Louisville area. With gas stop, breakfast, and factoring in one of the Jeep drivers won't break 50 mph if his ass was on fire, we SHOULD get there around noon or so. Silver Tacoma, a red, a green and a black XJ....Hope we run into ya!

On my 08 i had a set that was done locally that just gets cooked in AZ and will fail. I also bought an aftermarket set that also came apart. At this point im at the impression that its inevitable with aftermarket and done at home types. (Atleast in our heat)

Now before we claim shotty work by the local, I assure you this guy is so anal OCD he could pinch the head off a nickel.


So what about the 15 TRD pros that come from the factory? Even though they are expensive, they are factory and I assume hold up like the non blacked ones

 

Made sure he is going to stand behind his work. I believe this is his very first set going to the local Tacoma scene..if he wants the business and is a stand up dude (seems like he is already) he will make sure they are done well at the OCD level. I already have a few people reaching out that want to know more..how they look..how they are going to hold up etc.

In fact, we agreed on a price a while ago and recently tried to catch me with my pants down. Reminded him of the price we agreed on and he stood by his initial pricing for me..can't be that mad at him.

Yea, not a bad price and its done for me. I think I paid half that for my 08 ebay lights.

Not a necessity now, i mean bumpers are more impt. But one day ill want them.

 

For sure. Next MAJOR purchase was going to be a trailer that I found local to build up, but happy wife happy life happened.

Next MAJOR purchase WILL BE a good quality winch and line.
