@TRDLIGHTLY I love that wrap, it looks like you're in Orange Co CA, Fashion Island? I'm in that area, where can I go for that wrap job and how much?

If you like the way your truck looks, then don't worry about what others say. I am sure you did not lift your Taco to please others. Enjoy your ride!

Why not in a 2WD ? I do more off roading in my 2WD than a lot of people do with their 4wd.

Do i ever get stuck? Occasionally... But that doesn't keep me from enjoying my vehicle the way i like to.

Plus lots of people get lifts just for bigger tires... Just for looks... It doesn't have to be a 4wd vehicle to want bigger tires and more clearance.

I have SSM and also had decals sitting here from Far North to replace my OEM decals. After takeing off the OEM's I decided to leave it bare. Everyone I asked thinks it looks better naked.

That's more where I'm at. I wouldn't take off to replace...I'd take off to remove. If Toyota did a monochrome decal setup (like they did on my MGM decals) I'd be more apt to leave it be.

Difference of expierences I guess. My old bronco wasnt worth a sh!t climbing rutted Hills with open diffs. The second it would pull a tire off the ground forward progress stoped. Lock-rite in the rear end and it walked right up in 2x4 what is used to struggle in 4x4.

No rubbing at all, and no affected mileage! It went pretty smooth and worked really well!

I had a JK Wrangler, most of the time I was in 2WD climbing everything. The only time I needed 4WD was when I was climbing very difficult obstacles that I simply wouldn't attempt in a long wheel base vehicle like the JKU (4 door) or this Tacoma for the risk of turtle time. I won't say that 4WD isn't necessary, it is in certain situations. Honestly if you're wheeling at that level, this is the wrong vehicle and you probably should get a Gen 1 to SAS or buy a Jeep. I wouldn't take these long wheelbase, IFS rigs through places where that much grab is needed under normal conditions.

As far as a general trail truck to get you to camping and fishing spots, a 2WD Tacoma, with an LSD/Locked diff and a winch, is a perfect vehicle, IMO. This is the very reason I chose this platform instead of going back into a JKU.

It may come off with a regular washing... sometimes it's a little more stubborn and takes a bit of scrubbing.

If you're looking to pick up a product to help, Westley's Bleche White is sold at most auto stores and will make quick work of it and come in handy for cleaning up the white lettering in the future.

Prepare to be flamed alive for building a truck that fits your needs and the way you like it rather than what the majority has done. lol :D

Thank you. It's a Leer 100XR with wingdoors, which I felt were necessary with two large dogs. I have my complaints with the installers and the 3rd party company that makes the wingdoors for Leer (due to IMO substandard fit/finish), but I took like the look. I hope that helps.

Ha! Ya I honestly couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic about the opt7's question after his post about checking the thread first. I just assumed he had to be making a tangle in cheek joke, otherwise it's the best ironic post of this entire thread!
