will it hold 400lbs? just lag bolts? and bend a piece of 1/4in or thicker-lighter?

home depot sells ramp ends. then you also buy the 2x8. its about 40 bucks. or go online to harbor frieght and look up the ramps. that what i got for about $60. just keep in mind that wet 2x8 are very slick. thats why i went with the metal ones. the have raised holes for traction. they are light and hold 500lbs each.

X2 on the slick 2x8's. If you got this route, grip tape them.

Yeah....You can find all sorts of options. The ramp ends with a 2x8 and some grip tape is the way to go for cheap.

actually the current wife let me buy it as we were leaving Oregon for my first duty location, Barksdale LA. we were finishing packing up the u haul when my uncle-in-law??? said that he had the bike for me. sold me a 2001 (enduro) Suzuki drz400 with 1004 miles on it. for 2g's
he bought it new to ride with my grandpa-in-law??? anyways, he did the start and idle run for 8 years and the once in a blue moon ride around town. never riding with my grandpa-in-law???-is that how you say it. they would ride his fleet of honda goldwings (seriously 7,7 goldwings in his garage, 1100 to 1500-80s to 90's models)

now i have it. well my storage unit has it. i need to get it to my house because i am changing the battery from a stock 72cca to a monster 200cca one that is an upgrade for the r1 i think or the Kawasaki knockoff of the r1. now the battery wont die from 4 starts.

mlcassey they are for sure, did you change your battery? i heard on the drz forums that a lot of people have. what battery maintainer do you use name brand or generic?
