I had an OME lift on my GX470 and didn't do the UCA's with it.....didnt seem like an issue, alignment was fine.

Seems like most of the OME kits that I've seen come with that option now. I plan on putting the "heavy" springs up front (don't remember the #) so I can run the bull bar and winch. Would I need to change out the UCAs? Should I anyways?

Who has the best prices on the OME stuff?

Most of the kits will have that option, my Bilstein 5100 kit from Headstrong Offroad had that option too. But my understanding (someone correct me if I'm wrong) is that so long as you aren't lifting over 3", new UCA's won't be needed.

If you are going over 2.5" of lift, you should probably change out the UCAs. Some people don't, and their trucks run fine. YMMV.

    ETA:

^ He's right too. To be on the safe side, you should get UCAs so that you can get your alignment within spec.

Exactly, UCAs pay off in the long run. Your tires will be happier, you won't be annoyed with wandering steering, and your ball joints won't be pissed off or have premature wear.

Toytec, wheelers offroad, and headstrong offroad usually have excellent prices.

You can call them and say you're a Tacoma world member and save a little money with a discount.

Thanks guys...I'll probably go that route just to be sure.

I guess I'll start shopping for a kit here
