No see, you just don't get it, it's a 'feature'. It actually comes with the TRD HUNTER package. You can choose between Turkey call, dying manatee, or dog in heat, for your built in suspension animal calls!

I'm seriously considering replacing my boss toytec 2.0 lift with that same King package. 3.5" though is right around where you really need to start replacing other hardware for more of an LT setup though, right? Did you do extended fuel lines / gusset reinforcement, and are you considering different LCA's to help account for alignment at that much lift?

Really like how they look somewhat low profile and not over fabricated. Looks like there may still be mounting brackets on the arm as well for gear and such?

Just curious what your complaints are. I have the same canopy, just with the sliding windows. The are not very good, sticking and won't lock. I was considering switching to your style wingdoors.

So for those that have followed any of my posts about my transmission slipping and hesitation from reverse to drive, I have an update. Waite Toyota here in NY thoroughly checked it out and found it to be 3/4 quart low of tranny fluid. I'll let you all know if it is now improved. I'm a bit pissed at my original dealership telling me that they checked it and it was fine.

Man that sucks. We'll see I guess. Guess next thing will be to just wait for a TSB.

I took mine if for its 10K service today (Toyota of Grapevine, TX). The Service Writer found me in the waiting room to let me know the truck was done. He was so proud to tell me they checked all the fluids. I asked, "Really, you checked the ATF?" He said, "Well....we only checked for leaks. It is a pain in the ass to check and since it is a sealed system there is no need to check it." He asked if I was having issues. I told him I was having the same issue every other TRD OR owner was having.....low trans fluid. He said that was interesting and he hadn't heard that. I pointed out that they put a check mark on the invoice indicating they checked it after he just told me they didn't. I told him not to worry since I checked it myself and found it to be 3/4 quart low. I know this is nothing new for most of you, but it is so frustrating. Toyota of Grapevine has some good service writers but Robert Moran is not one of them. I am tempted to just to do all of my own periodic service going forward. It is not much of a benefit if you can't trust those working the vehicle. "Free" servicing comes with a price. I look forward to getting the survey.

Kings were a bit more expensive. I wanted the Icon upper arms, Icon AAL, and King 2.5's. It would have been about $300 more to go that route, custom building the kit.

The icons ride so nice. I cant imagine King riding any better. If they do, cool deal. I also didn't like the bright blue. Trying to keep it subtle.

Those are so much better then OEM but right now I'm liking having nothing there, at least on my SSM. At least I have something I like on hand if I change my mind.

Just added a little"TRD" flare to the tailgate, going to order new matte black badges to replace the chrome ones instead of plasti dipping them.

Mine was in for 5k last week. Allegedly added 1 quart of atf. Still have some hesitation from R to D and 1-2 and 2-3 appear to still have light slipping. I called corporate and opened a case for that and several other issues that were not repaired.

Many of complaints would probably be acceptable to most. The wingdoors came from the factory with silicon/sealant splattered everywhere, the frame drain holes had nasty burs which gashed me during its first wash, and (like you mentioned) the sliders were a pain to open/close before applying massive amounts of lubricant. Again, very nit picky criticisms but considering the price tag I feel they shouldn't need addressing.

Hooked up my mud buddy- shotgun and tool holder. I have one on my 18' aluminum boat. Comes in handy.
