Yup, this was confirmed to me October 2015 by a toyota engineer that the 2017 will have an available power slider. No one seemed to care when i posted it tho...

Just received information that the dealer submitted my order for a TRD OR 4x4 long bed with tow and PT/JBL It will be built July 20th and arrive at the dealership August 13th He mentioned that discounts will given. The official pricing for 2017 has yet to be released. They did confirm a price increase of 300.00. By the way, I did not have to place a down payment. This just seems too easy. Stay tune we shall see

I'm just stating. It appears the '17 OR is coming with black headlight bezels now. And the PRO is coming with a rear power slider. According to build sheets posted on here. Now sure about the sport or SR5 yet. I'm sure the SR5 will remain the same. Maybe the sport will have something different since the OR has new headlight bezels

Just curious, new here, where can I find the build sheets for the 2017 OR and PROs? Curious to look at them and decide what I want to order.

Toyota doesn't have build sheets available yet to the public so to speak I believe the only way you can get any info now is to order one yourself

May as well unless you're satisfied with the 16s still on the dealer lots.

I wanted a specific truck so it was easier to order and cut through the searching.

My dealer has been keeping in touch with me as I was interested in a '17. Got a email today with their first allocated '17. Build date beginning August with delivery towards the end of the month. Still no pricing available.

One side note that he did tell me is the '17 come standard with power sliding rear glass.

Hope he isn't lying to you. Another member showed his build sheet on his OR and it said nothing about power slider. Only seems as if the pro has it. However I hope they do have them

Well as you said it doesn't show on the build sheet it didn't show on either of the two that he sent me. One for a '17 OR and a '17 PRO.

Hmmm... Another member on here claimed his pro build sheet said rear power slider. Now I'm curious

got an email from the local dealership Sales Mgr couple days ago, he said didn't expect to see any 2017's on the lot till early November. Seems kinda late , right? I'm seeing August promise dates posted here. This is in north Texas, and the closest US factory producing Tacoma's is only 4 hrs away in San Antonio.....hhmmm?

I have to ask, why would you guys buy/order a vehicle ( doesn't matter what brand) before its made, tested? Is it more of the fact of YES I have a 2017 before 2017 ?

I think we are all hoping the 2017 engine will be a better one, because the platform is so good, has so much potential. Drop a smooth, reasonably powerful drivetrain in this midsize frame, it will be outstanding. I, for one, would not pre-order a 2017 Tacoma
